The human version of Byakuran's Box Weapon. Tall, intimidating, and almost always has a scowl. He's scary until you realize he is more like an overprotective father than anything else.
FC is Abel Heilon from Author of my Own Destiny (Neo's suggestion.)>> MINORI.
He was the Sun Flame in the future that Byakuran learned healing from. In this world, he's just an obnoxious boy with glasses and an obsession with beauty and anything feminine.

HEADCANONS.

>> HEALING.
All that healing he does (see: Yamamoto, Genkishi, Bluebell, himself) is a little gross. His process doesn't always follow natural directions. It doesn't hurt, but it's not a comfortable feeling. Think of it like putting puzzle pieces back together until the body looks as it should. (Body horror?)>> MENTAL HEALTH.
He has ADHD-I (Inattentive ADHD) but he was only diagnosed after he came to the United States in his first timeline. As a result of the events and his own actions in the Future Arc, he also suffers from PTSD. Lastly: see below.>> DEPRESSION.
This has always been a driving factor in his life, despite only being diagnosed post-canon.What looks like laziness is just an inherent lack of energy and motivation. Things that seem like whims on the surface are just things he can manage to energize and motivate himself to do in the hopes that he’ll feel just a little better afterward.
If one looks long enough, they’ll see most of what he calls “just for fun” isn't very satisfying.Another facet to this is that the power he had before is gone. All his work was erased. He's just a normal person with nothing but the Sky Mare Ring to his name now and its power was already sealed.

It's easy to put his hand on someone’s shoulder to get them to turn to face him, lean over their shoulder to watch what they’re doing, or catch someone in his arms when they fall and wait for them to let go first. (Bluebell's habits rubbed off on him.)3YL!Byakuran is much mellower in this regard and generally doesn't touch people if he doesn't know how they'll react, but once he interprets something as 'okay', well...

BACKSTORY.

[ Mainly headcanons out of necessity. ]>> CHILDHOOD.
Byakuran was the ultimate problem child.Being in the Japanese federal child care system (as opposed to a family) made it worse. Albinism already separated him from everyone else, so there was no chance to fit in - to belong - to begin with. When the culture was obviously excluding him from the start... why bother?With how little he listened to authority figures, he got into a lot of trouble with the caretakers, teachers, adults, and anyone who had superiority over him.He tried to think of any of the chaos surrounding him as "his own fault" - not to shame himself, only to keep some semblance of control over the situation. In addition to developing main character syndrome, he called it "entertainment" to keep himself from getting "bored".Naturally, it really messed with his head and left him with absurd coping mechanisms that eventually resulted in what we see in canon.>> MOVING.
WIP. This was his middle-school era. He went to the United States, learned English better, played video games. I don't have much else figured out yet, given that this is not especially relevant to post-canon Byakuran.>> CANON.

Fifteen. He attends a school in Namimori, with or without everyone else. Since returning, he's been diagnosed with depression, but it hasn't really sunk in yet.
Surprisingly, he doesn't seem to hold grudges against anyone from what happened in the Future Arc, but he also may or may not try to avoid or brush aside topics relating to it.

Eighteen. He recently graduated from a different high school then moved back to Namimori alone and away from Giglio-Nero. He's comparatively mellow and less chaotic now.The depression and loneliness has been hard on him, but he hides it under the smiles and his easygoing nature. As a result, he's not necessarily in the best mental state to do more than accept he'd done an endless amount of terrible things before. He might even be afraid of what will happen to him if he faces it in depth.>> 5YL.
Twenty. Just a verse where he's figured out a lot about himself and the past and doesn't fear the future anymore.>> TYL+1.
Set in the alternate future post-Future Arc. Once Tsuna killed Byakuran, Uni's sacrifice would reverse all the damage when sending them back to the past.A few months after that, a younger version of Byakuran appears. This is the one that Uni brought to the same past, the same one that went back to bring her there too. The same one Tsuna trusted to help fight Vindice at the end. He has the memories of that, the ones of his TYL self and the endless parallel versions. All the skills and knowledge came with him. The Sky Mare Ring he used... stopped working.This younger Byakuran is now stranded in the world his old self destroyed. He is no longer around anyone that he had (finally) learned to care about. It's just people affected by his older self's actions. Being buried under that weight takes its toll.However, thinking about that is boring. He's stuck around too many serious people now and has to constantly lighten the mood or it'll bring him down too. He has fun flexing his skills and knowledge and other things no one else can do unless he shows them. (Other ways to have fun are a work-in-progress.)>> DETOX.
(TW: past non-consensual drug use, past kidnapping. Motive/plot tba.)One day, Byakuran simply vanished overnight. It was highly unusual, even for him. It didn't take long for others' concerns to become paranoia. Something felt... wrong. This wasn't like him at all.Even with the cast's connections and resources, it was difficult to track down where he went - or, more appropriately, where he was taken - and when they found him, he acted almost exactly like how Yuni was back when she had been drugged. Still coherent, still capable of movement, still recognizes everyone, but... a monotonous voice, no emotion, and he no longer smiles. In a way, it's almost like the same drug took his soul too.For the time being, he stays in the hospital. The recovery process is best left in professional hands... although it's definitely taking a long time, isn't it?>> KNY.
